Frequently Asked Questions
What is an MVNE?
A mobile virtual network enabler provides the operational platform an MVNO needs to sell wireless service without building it: carrier network integration, SIM and eSIM provisioning, rating and billing, customer care tools, tax and often regulatory compliance. In the US, MVNEs include Reach, Ztar Mobile, Telgoo5, Gigs and Plintron Americas.
What is an MVNA?
A mobile virtual network aggregator buys wholesale airtime from a carrier in volume and resells it to multiple smaller MVNOs, typically with minimum volume commitments. US examples include PWG Network Solutions and Plintron Americas on T-Mobile, and NCTC on AT&T for independent cable operators.
How do I get listed in the MVNO Planet directory?
Submit the List Your Company form. Free listings are reviewed by our editors before publication. Verified, Sponsored and Premier tiers add logos, featured placement and lead routing from the Get Matched form; see the Advertise page for details. Listings are editorial summaries and are not endorsements.
Which vendors work with AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon?
Each directory profile lists the US networks the vendor enables. Filter the directory by type (MVNE, MVNA, Wholesale Carrier, BSS/OSS, eSIM) and check the US networks field on each card; the three carriers’ own wholesale programs are also listed under Wholesale Carrier.
